Ryland Homes Orlando

Ryland Homes Orlando Ryland Homes was founded in 1967 by James P Ryan. In 1970 he noticed a sign that read Maryland with the first two letters covered and thus the Ryland name was born. The company grew to become America's 5th largest home builder in 2013.

In 2015, Ryland merged with Standard Pacific homes to create CalAtlantic Homes. The Ryland name was dropped and was no longer used by the new company as a subsidiary or a brand name.

In 2018, Lennar Homes merged with CalAtlantic Homes to become the largest home builder in the nation. This made CalAtlantic a wholly owned subsidiary of Lennar Homes. The CalAtlantic Brand name is still used for some residential developments.
