The Christmas community consists of several small neighborhoods and enclaves. Located geographically in the Central-East section of Central Florida and in the far East section of the Metro Orlando area. Christmas is bordered by the Charles H Bronson State Forest to the North, the Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area to the South, Wetlands and the St. Johns River to the East and Wedgefield to the West. It is home to the Fort Christmas Historical Park and the local post office is known to be a popular place to mail your holiday cards from.
The main roadways in Christmas include Highway 50 which runs East-West through the community and SR 420 which runs North-South through Christmas.
