The Fowler Grove campus opened in February 2016 as Florida Hospital Winter Garden — a 97,000-square-foot, three-story building anchored by a 24-bed ER, an outpatient surgery center, imaging, a lab, and a multi-specialty clinic. The closest full-service hospital was Orlando Health Health Central in Ocoee — fine if you live there, longer if you live in Hamlin or eastern Winter Garden.

The $145 Million Tower Expansion
The original four-story patient tower is being capped with three additional floors to seven stories total — about 105,000 new square feet. The expansion topped out in July 2025, with completion scheduled for September 2026 according to Florida YIMBY.
The headline addition is labor and delivery — the first time families will be able to deliver babies in West Orange County without driving to AdventHealth Orlando or Orlando Health Winnie Palmer. The new women's services floor includes nine labor-and-delivery rooms, 10 postpartum beds, two C-section operating rooms, and shell space reserved for a future Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The expansion also adds 80 inpatient beds (40 active at opening, 40 in shell space) and a 40-bed progressive care unit. Licensed capacity will jump from 96 to 176 beds.
The $43.2 Million Cancer Institute
On the same campus, a separate three-story, 60,000-square-foot AdventHealth Cancer Institute is rising. It topped out in February 2026 and is targeting a summer 2026 opening with radiation oncology, medical oncology, PET imaging, and an Eden Spa and Boutique offering post-mastectomy fittings, wig services, and other patient support.
