Silver Star Road (SR 438): The East-West Cross-Grid
Silver Star Road carries State Road 438, a state-maintained route that runs approximately 10 miles from a parclo interchange with SR 429 at Exit 24 on Ocoee's western edge, east through the city's historic core, past Starke Lake, across Clarke Road, and out through Pine Hills to U.S. 441 near College Park in Orlando.

Silver Star's most important role for residents is that it's the second way into the expressway system. The 2014 Widening — Why Silver Star Feels Different Now
SR 438 got a significant upgrade in 2014 when the Florida Department of Transportation widened sections of Silver Star with dedicated bike lanes, sidewalks, turn lanes near Ocoee Hills Road, and added signalization.
