Avalon Park is a new urbanism style community with a central downtown bustling with activity on any day of the week. Avalon Parks Main Roads

Avalon Park Blvd is the main road in and out of the community. If you take it south, it will connect to S Alafaya Trail as well as Innovation Way. If you take it north, it will lead you through several other neighborhood areas that make up a part of the greater Waterford Lakes area and then eventually to E Colonial Drive (hwy 50). Hwy 50 and the 417 Expressway are both close by to Avalon Park. Hwy 50 E will take you to Titusville on the coast and Hwy 50 West will lead you through Orlando and eventually out to Weeki Wachee on Florida's West Coast. The 417 Expressway is the eastern half of the beltway around Orlando and will take you North through Sanford and over I-4 where it turns into the 429 Expressway. If you take it South, it will terminate at I-4 next to Disney World.
