Lake County consists of over 15 communities and unique enclaves and thousands of neighborhoods. Located geographically in the Northern Central of Central Florida is is bordered by Marion County to the North, Polk County to the South, Orange and Seminole County to the East and Sumter County to the West. Lake County Southern half makes up the Western portion of the Orlando Metro Area.
The main roadways in Lake County include the Florida Turnpike which cuts diagonally through the county. Hwy 50, 33 and 27 in the Southern portion of the County and Hwy 19, 44 and 441 in the Northern half of the county.
