Kissimmee Lakefront Park is a free, 25-acre public park located at 201 Lakeview Drive in Historic Downtown Kissimmee, FL, situated along the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho). By the late 1800s, a small outpost called Allendale had grown along the northern shore into what would become the city of Kissimmee. After extensive dredging opened the lake to steamship travel, Kissimmee became a legitimate commercial hub — and that waterfront identity never really left.
