Things to Do in St. Lucie County
The many beaches and water activities offer plenty of things to do throughout St. Lucie County. While the beaches may not make the top ten lists across the country, they are still very beautiful and offer plenty of sunshine for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Port St. Lucie is also home to the New York Mets Spring Training. Every year, the Mets come to town and provide plenty of fun for baseball fans to enjoy. They play at Fair Data Field, which is also used for the St. Lucie Mets Minor League Baseball Team.
Woodstork Trail and Hillmore Lake Park offer great options for those looking to enjoy nature. The park offers about 56 acres of space and it's home to a great trail system including a sidewalk trail. The park is also home to a pair of observation decks and some fishing docks.
Those seeking incredible beauty will find it at the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. Found at the center of Port St. Lucie, this garden offers 20 acres of space found near the St. Lucie River. It's known for the grand fountain and the paved trails making it very easy to enjoy.
Port St. Lucie is also home to a Riverwalk Boardwalk. Found on the banks of the St. Lucie River, this boardwalk provides more than 2,000 feet of space with a pavilion. You can the paths through the mangrove swamps and enjoy the observation deck here.
