Tohoqua Reserve is a gated 55+ active-adult enclave set inside the larger, all-ages Tohoqua master-planned community in Kissimmee, Osceola County, just off the Florida Turnpike at Exit 244 near US-192. Pulte Homes broke ground in 2021 with 258 homes planned, and the community is now near build-out — the villa floor plans have already sold out, leaving single-family plans as the remaining inventory. What sets the Reserve apart isn't one feature but the arrangement: residents get a private amenity center reserved for the 55+ neighborhood while also tapping into the broader Tohoqua amenities, so the enclave stays self-contained without being walled off from the wider community.

The 55+ amenity center anchors daily life with a resort-style pool, fitness center, clubhouse, sports courts built for tennis and pickleball, and a dog park, with a full-time activities director running the social calendar. More than five miles of community trails tie into the regional network, and the neighborhood sits next to the 370-acre Twin Oak Park, whose trails run out toward Lake Tohopekaliga. Everyday errands stay close — Publix, Target, Walmart, and St. Cloud Regional Medical Center are all a short drive away — and a Village Center with shops, restaurants, and medical offices is planned at the Tohoqua entrance, though it isn't built yet. Housing comes in two formats: single-family homes and attached villas, ranging from roughly 1,579 to 2,870 square feet across one- and two-story plans, all with two-car garages. The villas are sold out, so single-family plans are what remain available. The feature that actually separates the Reserve from a standalone 55+ community is the dual-amenity setup — a private 55+ center plus the master-plan amenities — paired with direct trail and conservation access along Twin Oaks and the Florida National Scenic Trail.
