The Baldwin Park community is actually a massive new urbanism style neighborhood in Downtown Orlando. Located next to Winter Park, it was built on land that was a former U.S. Navel Training School. Geographically Baldwin Park is located in the Central East section of Central Florida and in the Northeast section of the Metro Orlando area. Baldwin Park is bordered by Winter Park to the North, the Orlando Executive Airport to the South, the UCF Area to the East and Audubon Park and Downtown Orlando to the West. It is home to the Orlando VA Hospital and features a downtown area with shops and restaurants on Lake Baldwin.
The main roadways within Baldwin Park include New Broad Street, Meeting Place and Lake Baldwin Lane. Just outside of Baldwin Park, is Hwy 50 which runs East West through Orlando and SR 436 which runs North South through Orlando. Just a few more minutes away are the 408 and 417 expressways and I-4.
