The park dates back to 1827 and offers an observatory pagoda-style building, along with several other attractions. Residents can enjoy the marble fountain. Pulaski Monument, and plenty of natural areas throughout. Sports fields, pathways for jogging, and a fenced-in dog park are also found here.
Charleston Avenue or Highway 17 runs through the city and offers plenty of places to dine and shop just off the main road. It's also where you will find the Fort Meade Community Center, which provides some things to do for residents.
This city is also home to the Streamsong Resort. This golf and spa resort offers plenty of things to do for guests with a 228room hotel, three golf courses, a spa, and plenty of fishing. You can even enjoy clay-shooting at the resort.
