Legacy of Leesburg

Legacy of Leesburg Homes

Legacy of Leesburg started construction in 1996 and was completed many years later. The community was actually acquired by Florida Leisure Communities in 2011 and they finished the final 72 homes. About 1,000 single-family homes are found within the community today.

The original homes built from 1996 to 2010 are known as the Pringle Development. They range from 1,013 to 2,700 square feet in size and come in a variety of floor plans. Homes offer one to four bedrooms with one to three bathrooms and an attached one to three-car garages.

In 2011, three new home series were added by Florida Leisure communities including the Estate, Designer, and Garden series. These are very sought after homes since they are newer than the original development.

The Estate series offers home ranging from 1,696 to 2,746 square feet with two to four bedrooms and two or three bathrooms. These homes all offer a two or two-and-a-half-car garage. A wide variety of floor plans are offered with some offering a den.

The Designer Series features home from 1,670 to 1,725 square feet with four distinct floor plans. Two of the floor plans include a Den and all homes offer two-car garages. Homes are offered with either two or three bedrooms and all homes in the Designer Series offer two bathrooms.

The smaller homes added by Florida Leisure Communities are found in the Garden Series. There are five floor plans ranging from 1,289 to 1,623 square feet. All floor plans, except one offer two bedrooms with the Myrtlewood floor plan offering three. Each floor plan offers two bathrooms and a two-car garage, as well. Three of the five floor plans also offer a den.

Legacy of Leesburg Community Amenities

The Clock Tower Hall is the centerpiece of Legacy of Leesburg. It's the clubhouse and features a 35-foot clock at the center. The Clock Tower hall offers plenty of social activities and spaces with a fitness room, two catering kitchens, a game room, a computer room, a ballroom, and a card room. There's an aerobics studio for fitness classes and billiards are also offered.

The outdoor amenities include a resort-style swimming pool and spa for residents to enjoy. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy, as well. The community offers a softball field, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and boccie ball courts.

The 275-acre nature conservation area makes Legacy of Leesburg a very popular community, as well. With plenty of nature watching, fishing, and outdoor trails, residents tend to enjoy the outdoor spaces.

Location

Found to the northwest of Orlando, Legacy of Leesburg is located in Leesburg, Florida. It's very close to Lake Denham, Lake Harris, and Lake Apopka. The community is found about 39 miles from Downtown Orlando and about 47 miles from Walt Disney World.
