Seminole County consists of over 10 communities and enclaves and hundreds of neighborhoods. Located geographically in the East Central area of Central Florida is is bordered by Volusia County to the North, Orange County to the South and West, and Brevard County to the East. Seminole County is the Northern Section of the Greater Orlando Metro area and is home to home to the Central Florida Zoo and the Sanford-Orlando International Airport. The American Automobile Association is headquartered in Seminole County as is Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Scholastic Book Fairs and Sears Home Improvement Products.
The main roadways in Seminole County include I-4, Hwy 17 and the 417 Expressway which all run North-South through Seminole County. State Roads 46, 436 and 434, and Lake Mary Blvd run East-West through the county.
