Silver Woods is a Windermere neighborhood of approx 282 homes and features two community tennis courts and easy access to Apopka Vineland Road.

While Silver Woods is technically a part of the Windermere area, its entrance is on South Apopka Vineland Road, making it feel more like a Dr Phillips community neighborhood.

The Windermere Grove Shopping Plaza is just around the corner as is Olympia High School. Restaurant Row on Sand Lake Road is just to the South of the neighborhood as is the Walt Disney World Resort.

The Silver Woods neighborhood is located in the Southeast corner of Windermere just off of Apopka Vineland Road.

It is located in the 34786 zip code in Orange County which is central and heart of the Greater Orlando Metropolitan Area of Central Florida.

The Isleworth Country Club and Windermere Reserve neighborhoods are next to Silver Woods and Downtown Windermere is located just 1 mile from the main entrance of Silver Woods. The Florida Turnpike, I-4, the 408 and 429 expressways are close by providing quick access to all points of interest within Orlando and the Central Florida area.

Homes Available in Silver Woods

The majority of the homes in Silver Woods were built between 1985 and 1988 by various builders. The neighborhood features Florida, ranch, contemporary and traditional style homes which range in size from approx 1,500 square feet to over approx 2,400 sq ft.

Homes typically feature 3 to 4 bedrooms and older but moderately priced homes for a Windermere address as well as quick access to all the shops and restaurants around the corner at the Grove Shopping Plaza. About half the homes have private swimming pools and a small handful back to small ponds.
