Thornhill is a Windermere area neighborhood of approx 105 Key West inspired homes and features close proximity to the Walt Disney World Resort area but in a residential area rather than tourist area.

The neighborhood includes a central community park square with water fountain and a separate park with playground. Located just off Reams Road, Thornhill is on the West side of the prestigious Butler Chain of Lakes in the "new" Windermere area.

The Thornhill neighborhood is located in the South area of Windermere just off of Reams Road. It is technically an Orlando address as it is just across Reams Road from Windermere proper.

Thornhill is located in the 32836 zip code in Orange County which is central and heart of the Greater Orlando Metropolitan Area of Central Florida.

The Royal Estates and Mabel Bridge neighborhoods are next to Thornhill and Downtown Windermere is located just 8 miles from the main entrance of Thornhill. I-4 and 429 Expressway are close by providing quick access to all points of interest within Orlando and the Central Florida area.  Castleview elementary school is directly North of the neighborhood and a somewhat hidden back entrance into Walt Disney World via Floridian Place is just a mile South of Thornhill.

The majority of the homes in Thornhill were built between 2007 and 2011 by Ashton Woods Homes. The neighborhood features Key West, contemporary, traditional, ranch and Florida style homes which range in size from approx 2,100 square feet to over approx 3,800 sq ft.

Homes typically feature 3 to 5 bedrooms and all of the homes feature brick pavered driveways and tropical landscaping.  While all of the homes have shingle roofs, some also feature metal roof accents. The majority of the homes have private swimming pools and some homes back to water or conservation.
