Lake Burden is a Windermere neighborhood of approx 240 homes and and 224 townhomes.  It features a community clubhouse with pool, park, tennis courts and multi purpose athletic field. There is also a community dock on Lake Burden with park and picnic pavilions and a walking trail around a central neighborhood pond.

The Lakeside Village Shopping Center feature a Publix, gas station and other daily shops and services is located directly across the street from the neighborhood. The Walt Disney World Resort area is just South of the neighborhood.

Where is Lake Burden in Windermere?

The Lake Burden neighborhood is located in the Southwest area of Windermere just off of Winter Garden Vineland Road.

It is located in the 34786 zip code in Orange County which is central and heart of the Greater Orlando Metropolitan Area of Central Florida.

The Keenes Pointe and Casa Del Lago neighborhoods are next to Lake Burden and Downtown Windermere is located just from the main entrance of Lake Burden. There is a residential bridge over a part of the actual Lake Burden that connects Lake Burden to Casa Del Lago. The Florida Turnpike, I-4, the 408 and 429 expressways are close by providing quick access to all points of interest within Orlando and the Central Florida area.

The majority of the homes in Lake Burden were built between 2007 and 2016 by K Hovnanian Homes. The neighborhood features traditional, contemporary, craftsmen and Florida style homes which range in size from approx 1300 square feet townhomes to over approx 5200 sq ft estate homes.  Homes typically feature 2 to 6 bedrooms and both single family homes and townhomes are available in the neighborhood. A few of the single family homes feature private pools and several either back to Lake Burden or are on canals that lead to the lake.
